Sebastián Vollmer

His practice focuses principally on advising on the financing and development of real estate projects, urban matters, territorial planning and construction, investments in agricultural land, and, in general, all types of transactions involving real estate. In the ambit of Corporate Law, his professional practice is centred on advising national and foreign companies in the execution of all types of commercial agreements, civil contracts, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganizations.

Prior to founding Cuadra Vollmer & Cía., Sebastián worked as associate attorney in the corporate group of Grasty Quintana Majlis & Cía. (2008-2013) and with the law firm Larraín y Asociados (2004-2007).

Sebastián is the author of the undergraduate thesis “Derechos Fundamentales y Colusión” (Universidad de Chile), which has been cited by our Supreme Court in some rulings on antitrust matters, highlighting the following cases: “Fiscalía Nacional Económica v. Farmacias Ahumada, Cruz Verde and Salcobrand” (2012), "Query of SMU for merger with Supermercados del Sur’ (2013), "Conadecus v. Movistar, Claro and Entel" (2018), "TVI v. VTR Comunicaciones" (2019), "Query Cruz Verde for commercial discount rate of Transbank" (2019), “Conadecus v. Cencosud” (2020), "Fiscalía Nacional Económica v. Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional" (2021), "Bancos Bice, Internacional, Security, Scotiabank and BBVA v. Banco Estado" (2022), "Query of Nexus for merger between Isapres Nueva Masvida y Colmena" (2023), and "Envía v. Correos de Chile’ (2024).

He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association (Colegio de Abogados de Chile A.G.).
